Pandapas Pond / Brush Mountain Information
Location: Blacksburg, VA
Description: Located within cycling distance of Blacksburg, this park is nestled in the hills of Jefferson National Forest. Pandapas Pond has something for everyone - for a technically easy ride, hop onto the Poverty Creek Trail, which runs the length of the park, and then ride back on the fire road. For more of a more technical challenge, take any of the numerous side trails off of the Poverty Creek Trail or off the Fire Road, which are steep and intermittently rocky.

Miles of Trails: 30 miles
Directions: From Blacksburg, take US-460 West. Go about 3 1/2 miles. You will see a sign for Pandapas Pond on the left. Turn onto this forest service road. For mountain biking, park in the lot immediately to your left as you turn onto the forest service road. There is a trailhead across the forest service road (Poverty Creek Trail) and another trailhead at the back of the parking lot (Horse Nettle Trail).
