Description: The James River Park System, located in the heart of Richmond, consist of over 550 acres of scenic shoreline and islands in the James River. Activities include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, and mountain biking.

Directions: Take I-95 exit 79 to merge onto I-195 South. Merge onto VA-76S Powhite Parkway and go 2 miles. Take the Forest Hill Ave. exit. Turn left and go 2.5 miles. Turn left on W42nd Street. Turn right at Hillcrest Rd. Parking lot is 1/4 mile on the left.
